Dear Auction Sponsor, Item Donor, Big Bin Donor, Attendee, and Auction Volunteers Never in this economic climate did we dream we would raise as much as $130,000 for the patients of Wings of Hope Hospice. It seemed impossible. Yet on May 15th at the Night of Hope Auction, this greater Allegan County community did the impossible: you helped Wings of Hope Hospice raise $134,000! We are very proud to partner with you to care for our patients who are facing their last days. When you give as you have it truly is as if you were there helping us care for them. We could not begin to do what we do for them if not for you. This year's auction was successful on so many fronts. We raised more than ever in our auction history, had almost 100 more donors than ever before (665), and about 100 more people were in attendance (650). At the event we also held our patient days auction to help cover the cost of uninsured patients. Two hundred fifty-six days were covered, totaling $38,912. Again a new record. Awesome. Your concern and compassion for the dying of Allegan County is truly amazing and we, the staff and patients of Wings of Hope Hospice are truly grateful for you.
